O festival acontece de fevereiro a novembro, contando com 16 etapas (15 regionais e a final em S\u00e3o Paulo). A primeira delas ocorreu em Sorocaba, no \u00faltimo m\u00eas, quando Daniel concorreu com a empada frita \u2013 considerada bem cultural gastron\u00f4mico de Salto &#8211; recheada de pato com redu\u00e7\u00e3o de vinho do Porto picante e foi um dos classificados.
