Infelizmente, no Brasil, a cultura da sesta (a soneca ap\u00f3s o almo\u00e7o) n\u00e3o faz parte do nosso dia a dia. Contudo, Fab\u00edola Grasser, da Unimed, afirma que o melhor hor\u00e1rio para tirar um cochilo \u00e9 realmente ap\u00f3s o almo\u00e7o, entre 13h e 15h. Segundo ela, uma soneca de dez a 20 minutos \u00e9 ben\u00e9fica para a mem\u00f3ria e habilidades motoras. \u201cPesquisadores americanos observaram que um cochilo durante o dia traz v\u00e1rios benef\u00edcios, como diminui\u00e7\u00e3o do estresse; melhora da capacidade da mem\u00f3ria e produtividade; aumento da libido; renova\u00e7\u00e3o celular e, portanto, manuten\u00e7\u00e3o da apar\u00eancia jovem; manuten\u00e7\u00e3o do peso; e diminui\u00e7\u00e3o dos riscos de hipertens\u00e3o e problemas card\u00edacos\u201d, conta.<\/p>\n<p>Mas, aten\u00e7\u00e3o, cochilos longos, de at\u00e9 50 minutos, podem fazer voc\u00ea entrar numa fase de sono mais profunda e, ainda, correr o risco de despertar sonolento, o que talvez prejudique as suas atividades no restante do dia. Para quem trabalha ou estuda longe de casa e n\u00e3o pode dar uma escapadinha na hora do almo\u00e7o e tirar sua soneca em casa, o que pode ser feito \u00e9 encontrar um cantinho tranquilo e adaptar o ambiente. O ideal \u00e9 achar um espa\u00e7o em que possa esticar as pernas, fechar as cortinas para escurecer o local ou usar uma m\u00e1scara de dormir e, se for poss\u00edvel, usar um cobertor, j\u00e1 que a temperatura do corpo diminui enquanto dormimos.<\/p>\n<p>Manter a regularidade do hor\u00e1rio da soneca tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 importante. Para a especialista o cochilo tem mais efeito do que tomar caf\u00e9 para se manter desperto ao longo do dia, pois a cafe\u00edna pode reduzir o desempenho da mem\u00f3ria.
